As part of the celebration of the Big Jubilee, a five-decade anniversary celebrated last week by the Police Helicopter Unit, M-NAV was awarded a CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION for promoting good relations and cooperation with the Helicopter Unit within MIA.
This represents a special honor and pleasure for M-NAV because this noble, life-saving Helicopter Unit within MIA is an organizational unit that is by its importance, role and function a pillar of police core activities, especially when it comes to complex and specialized police, aviation activities and operations.
This was another M-NAV`s recognition that it continuously promotes relations and cooperation with a number of organizations in the field of aviation, rising itself as a respectable factor both in our country and beyond.

For the first time, the Leaders of the Air Navigation Services Provider M-NAV, Mr. Nikolche Taseski and Mr. Aleksandar Palchevski along with ATM and CNS Experts from M-NAV were on one-day working meeting with representatives from HCAA-Thessaloniki (Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority), neighbouring Hellenic Republic.
The main topic that was discussed was the implementation of OLDI (On Line Data Interchange) with MAKEDONIA APP, as a protocol for automatic coordination and transfer of current flight data between the said two adjacent air traffic control units. The implementation of OLDI is essential for obtaining greater efficiency and accuracy of flight data exchange, i.e. also the verbal coordination between the adjacent air traffic control units will be reduced.
Other crucial operative topics were also discussed at the meeting.
Having in mind that this is first working meeting with the colleagues from HCAA-Thessaloniki, the meeting may be assessed as particularlysignificant not only in view of improving the process of exchanging automated flight data messages but also in view of generally improved communication, enhanced mutual trust and cooperation between the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of North Macedonia in the area of aviation.
Such constructive and cooperative position of these adjacent ATS units will continue in future as well.

Last week, at the Training Center – Flight Training Europe, S.L in Jerez, Spain, M-NAV`s candidates for Air Traffic Controllers who had been selected in selection process during the year of 2018, successfully completed an initial training and a training for acquiring ACS and TWR rating.

M-NAV has made great efforts in the process of recruiting and selecting ATCO candidates and has made the best selection as it is evidenced by the praise received from the Training Center, Flight Training Europe, S.L, that this class of M-NAV`s students are the most successful ones “being produced” by the Training Center.
During the ceremony, certificate for achievement in the theoretical part was awarded to the student, Bard Ajdini, while certificate for achievement in the practical part, i.e. training in the simulator was awarded to Jakov Burneski.
M-NAV is proud of the results of this group as well as of the results of the previous one which also completed its training at ATS Global Dennmark Center few months ago. Our State should be proud of the new aviation ambassadors.
M-NAV is specially delighted of the graduation of these student ATCOs since after almost ten years, the Company received fresh staff (“fresh blood”) that will facilitate the handling of the increased volume of air traffic in future.
One again, M-NAV congratulates to ATCO students for the accomplishment and wishes them successful development of their career path.

Today, the International Day of
the Air Traffic Controllers is being celebrated all over the world!
M-NAV wishes Happy International
Day of the Air Traffic Controllers, 20th of October. Cultivating
dedication, the Air Traffic Controllers worldwide strive to ensure an
achievement of their common goal which is as follows, through synthesis of a
safe, efficient and cost-efficient air traffic control system and specific, own
knowledge, skills and experience, the world to obtain safe air traffic.
In his greeting addressed to all
Air Traffic Controllers, the President of Management Board of M-NAV and ANS
Executive Director, Mr. Nikolche Taseski, states that fast, internet search engines
testify that on average, approximately100.000 flights per day that are part of
the general aviation, private, commercial and cargo flights are being handled
by ATCOs. Also, he emphasizes the significance of the most challenging
profession, stating that the ones who help make the flight safe are
professionals, men and women, known as Air Traffic Controllers. Unfortunately,
the public is slightly aware of them and only knows about them from media
headlines in case when either an error or an aircraft accident occurs, ATCO`s successes
are rarely celebrated. He also points out that a promotion of this profession
is necessary, taking into account that these professionals are the most
important segment of the safest possible mode of transport and that they are
ultimately responsible for the safety in case of unpleasant moments during
flight.
These Sky Guards work with
maximum dedication and concentration, rapidly and efficiently while applying
their acquired knowledge, skills and experience. They do not have an
opportunity to hear the THANK YOU that is usually addressed to the pilots and
to the flight crew or to see the smile of passengers after successfully
completed flight, that is why at least and on this day, let`s mark their
contribution with one big THANK YOU.
Once again, M-NAV wishes happy
International Day of the Air Traffic Controllers, wishes a successful work and
handling of a larger number of flights and at the same time it expresses
gratitude for their dedication to ensure passengers` safety.
