M-NAV GOJSC invited Albcontrol for a bilateral meeting which was held on 29th of March in Ohrid, the meeting was held between high-level delegation from M-NAV led by Mr. Nikolche Taseski – President of Management Board of M-NAV and high-level delegation from Albcontrol led by Mr. Mina Kusta – Albcontrol General Director.
The aim of this important meeting was signing the revised Bilateral Agreement for Radar Data Sharing in accordance with EASA format and signing Bilateral Agreement for Exchange of Safety Data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 376/2014 as well.
This meeting gave opportunity for the high-level representatives from both countries to discuss about the changes of Letters of Agreement between M-NAV and Albcontrol, including changes of the controlled area under jurisdiction of ATC Ohrid, having an aim to optimize the operative work of Ohrid TWR/APP and Skopje TMA.
Further, at the meeting, it was considered the status of the Agreement that shall be signed between the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Government of the Republic of Albania on the Delegation of Air Traffic Services in a portion of the airspace above Ohrid Lake which was another sign of good cooperation between both countries.
