Integrated Management Sytem

M-NAVs Integrated Management System policy reflects the organization’s dedication to achieving excellence across all facets of our organization. By integrating our management practices, we are better equipped to meet the needs of our stakeholders and adapt to changing environments.

As such, M-NAV has established and maintains a management system, which includes safety management (SMS), quality management (QMS), compliance monitoring (CM), security management (SeMS), occupational health and safety (OHS), and environmental management (EMS).

Safety management system

M-NAV commitment to a robust Safety Management System is vital to ensuring the safety of our operations and stakeholders. We continuously strive to enhance our SMS, fostering a culture where safety is a shared responsibility.

Our safety policy and just culture policy reflects our commitment to safety and defines roles and responsibilities at all levels of the organization.

The Safety Management System in M-NAV is a set of activities to achieve, ensure and maintain a high level of safety such as:

  • collecting information on and analyzing safety occurrences
  • identifying hazards and assessing risks
  • conducting safety surveys.

Safety Policy

Safety is the core value and the first priority in all our activities within M-NAV and shall take precedence over operational expediency, commercial, social and any aspects of business.

We are committed to implementing, developing and improving strategies, management systems and processes to ensure that all our activities uphold the highest level of safety performance and meet national and international standards.

These goals are achieved through further commitment of the organization to provide the necessary resources for the effective management of safety.

Just culture Policy

М-NAV is striving to develop a healthy Just Culture –based safety reporting system to encourage the feed of information that can be used directly to improve practices and thus improve ANSP safety.

The Just Culture Policy promotes an open environment for reporting safety concerns without fear of retribution. The Policy draws a clear line on behaviors that are tolerated and those that are not. The evaluation of people’s behavioral choices is made by an independent Just Culture Committee (JCC) using a JC Tool to provide a fair, objective and consistent approach.

Safety culture

Safety Culture involves aligning individual and organizational traits and attitudes to prioritize safety, ensuring that safety issues are given the attention they deserve.

M-NAV management prioritizes the principle of “learning from mistakes” rather than focusing on penalties, thereby fostering the continued growth of safety culture within the organization, while considering all its attributes.

Human Factors

M-NAV is committed to fostering a culture that prioritizes mental health and well-being. Our Stress and Fatigue Management System is an essential part of our safety strategy, ensuring that all employees have the tools and support they need to perform at their best. Our Stress and Fatigue Management System is designed to address the critical challenges of managing stress and fatigue among aviation personnel. Recognizing that these factors can significantly impact safety and performance, we implement a proactive approach to promote well-being and operational efficiency. A clear commitment to managing stress and fatigue as essential components of safety and performance is established through policy.

Quality

M-NAV has implemented a quality management system as a part of its Integrated Management System (IMS). The quality management system is certified in compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 international standard requirements and it aims to enhance our operational efficiency and ensure highest quality of services.

The Quality Policy aligns with our organizational goals, setting clear objectives to drive performance. The policy reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Compliance

A tracking function of compliance has been established in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation (ЕU) 2017/373.

The function enables responsive and systematic monitoring of compliance with applicable national and international regulations, standards and guidelines. Compliance monitoring also includes the monitoring of new applicable regulations according to the areas of application (services, functions, processes) as well as the system of feedback to the Management Board of  „M-NAV“GOJSC  .- Skopje.

Information about the compliance process is made through the e-mail address: compliance@mnavigation.mk, which was created to distribute applicable regulatory requirements and submit questions related to the manner of implementation and interpretation of regulations.

The address is also used to inform about changes in the applicable regulations that are under the responsibility of the responsible persons or the users, including reports of potential non-conformities and complaints from employees and users. Compliance is continuously maintained through monitoring of news, information, counseling and management of non-compliance reports of the company.

Environment

M-NAVs commitment to ISO 14001 reflects the organization’s dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship in aviation. We continually strive to enhance our Environmental Management System to minimize our ecological footprint and contribute to a sustainable future.

We encourage all employees and stakeholders to engage in our environmental initiatives and contribute to our goals.

Our Environmental Management System (EMS) also covers environmental aspects. We are ISO 14001:2015 certified, and have defined the Environmental Management Policy, to ensure the identification and management of environmental risks in a systematic way.

Occupational health and safety

Our commitment to Organizational Health and Safety is fundamental to our operations. We continuously strive to improve our OHS practices, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all employees.

We encourage all employees to actively participate in our health and safety initiatives.

In line with our Policy, we implement the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHS) based on the ISO 45001:2018 standard as a key component of our risk management strategy for safeguarding employees and assets while adhering to legislative updates.

The ISO 45001:2018 certification fosters a safe and healthy workplace by providing a structured approach for the identification and evaluation of all health and safety risks and opportunities. It also helps minimize the likelihood of incidents, ensures compliance with legal standards, and enhances overall performance.
