Mission & Vision
Our Company’s mission is to provide a high level of service and continuous security improvements, the regularity and efficiency of air traffic flow with optimal use of available human and technical resources and with minimum costs to provide high quality air navigation services within the designated airspace in a transparent and non-discriminatory manner, taking care of the environment.
The company’s vision is continuous improvement of „М-NAV“ GOJSC – Skopje, as an ANSP capable of consistently providing a high level of safety, regular, expeditious and efficient services for airspace users and as an ANSP provider which operates in accordance with SingleEuropeanSky regulations, to adapt at minimal cost to the new European regulations that will lead to securing a stable position and improving performance within Functional Airspace Block.
Pursuant to Article 60 of the Aviation Law and Article 7 of the Statute of ‘’M-NAV’’ – Air Navigation Service Provider GOJSC , the Company’s operations are the following activities:
1. Provision of air navigation services (ANS – Air Navigation Services) as a priority activity of the Company, which includes:
1.1) ATM services (Air Traffic Management) which includes:
a) Air Traffic Services , ( ATS-Air Traffic Services) that is;
– Air Traffic Control (ATC-Air Traffic Control), services provided to an aircraft through clearances and instructions granted by the competent air traffic control to ensure safe, regular and
smooth flow of air services operation;
– Flight Information Service (FIS-Flight Information Service), services provided by publication of information usefulfor safe conduct of flight; and
-ALRT – Alerting Service services provided in need of search and rescue aid
through notification and coordination of the competent entities;
b) Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM-Air Traffic Flow Management), services provided to ensure maximum utilization of the capacity of the air traffic control and volume of air services operation;
c) Airspace Management (ASM-AirSpace Management), services provided to ensure maximum and flexible utilization of the airspace among all users and
d) network functions ( Network Functions) mean services that are provided for the purpose of ensuring detailed arrangements for joint decision – making between the member states, air
navigations services providers and network management functions.
1.2) Aeronautical Information Service (AIS – Aeronautical Information Service)
responsible for the provision, processing and distribution of aeronautical information/data, urgent notifications (NOTAMs), aeronautical information circular, aeronautical charts and flight procedures;
1.3) Meteorological services (MET –meteorological information) covering the provision, processing and distribution of
meteorological information, meteorological forecasts, meteorological reports, meteorological
warnings, and
1.4) CNS (communication, navigation and surveillance) Installation, maintenance, inspection and monitoring of technical facilities, devices and equipment intended for provision of air navigation services which means preventive and corrective maintenance, setting, calibration, monitoring, supervision, management, appointing and introduction to operation, as well as development and modification of procedures and instruction for operating and maintaining the operative technical means in a condition enabling safe and regular air traffic .
(2) keeping of records, collecting, processing and forwarding data used for collecting the
charges for the aviation navigation services;
(3) preparing and regular updating of the Aeronautical Information Publication; and
(4) Training of ANS personnel.
“M-NAV” is constantly trying to carefully set its mid-term and long-term goals and strategies, in order to maintain high levels of safe air traffic for millions of future passengers. The choice of strategies is always in accordance with the context in which “M-NAV” works, the bodies and institutions that are relevant to the aviation sector, authorities and institutions relevant to the aviation sector (ICAO, EUROCONTROL) that constitute and control this sphere regulated by European laws that have a common strategy for an international air traffic management system (ATM). These organizations bring Regulations and determine the conditions and clear standards for quality and safety of air carriers. They are also committed to increase interoperability between service providers in each Member State. MNAV faces all these challenges by defining development projects that set out important and complex investment plans, designed to reach as many technical-functional objectives as financial.
The basic operating principles of our Company are:
- To increase production capacity and business continuity to meet demand, to improve security and air traffic punctuality;
- To implement an economic-financial plan capable of continuing improvements in Company performance, both in terms of company cost cutting and maintaining applied prices;
- To assert ourselves as the Macedonian provider in the wider European ATM panorama for international research and air traffic management development, planned for the future
